Leeds Wargames Club was formed in the early 1970’s, and has a strong membership with interests ranging from Ancient Greeks to Science Fiction, with stop offs in Dark Ages, Renaissance, SYW, Napoleonic, Franco Prussian, WWI, WWII and modern periods. At the present moment, several campaigns are being run, a Western Front Dogfight, Crimson Skies, Battletech, but it has been known for us to run Subbutteo and our own Formula 1 Championship — F1 may not be wargaming but you haven’t seen the way we drive!! The club runs a Wargames show each year called FIASCO, which helps both promote the hobby and hopefully finance the club.
