Crimson Skies is another FASA game played at the club. Set in alternative 1930’s America, where the Stock Market crash in 1927 caused not only great hardship, but the break-up of the United States.
Great Zepplins now take the role of highway traffic and the rail network. With this comes the pirate gangs flying aircraft like the Raven, Kestrel and Devastator.
Players fly a pair of aircraft, a Hero and his/her faithful wingman. The game is character driven, with the ability scores of the pilot being more important than the actual capability of the plane.
Surviving missions, causing damage and shooting down the opposition lead to better stats, thus they are able to fly better, shoot straighter and pick off targets.
Currently the Black Swan Squadron have held the upper hand in all of the engagements so far, blazing a path through any that dare to face them.
