Campaigns are a series of games that can take a long….long…..time.
There are several types, free flowing actions that need time and dedication to take part in. Any campaign that uses continental maps, free movement of troops or the use of supplies, politics, or public awareness will require many hours of preparation.
Another type of campaign uses individual units that develop over a series of actions, but the out of game time taken is far less than in the example above. Gladiatorial arena fighting, dog-fighting over the Western Front
The following are a few of the campaign currently run at the club
Battletech is a game of armoured combat set in the 31st Centuary, where 12m high humanoid machines rule the battlefield
Biggles Flies North is an aerial campaign set in the First World War
Crimson Skies Board game from FASA about air pirates over the skies of the USA
Role Playing Games, such as dungeons and Dragons and Alternity. |
